1. a) Define statically determinate and inderminate structure. Derive the relation between young modulus of Elasticity(E) and modulus of Rigidity (G).

   b) A 6m long and 200 mm diameter of steel structure is connected by two grips and maintained temperature of 95degree. Determine the stress and force exerted when temperature fall to 20degreecelcius if

           i) The two ends do not yield

          ii) The ends yield by 0.15cm.
